About
On data, systems, and human performance.
I'm an experienced commercial manager and a lifelong lover of data. My work and my curiosity sit at the meeting point of the energy economy, the systems that shape it, and how people adapt, perform, and change. I came to this work sideways — which is why I call myself the Accidental Scientist.
Energy Transition
The future of the energy economy, the data behind it, and the climate policy steering the shift to renewables.
Data Stories
A genuine love of finding the story in the numbers — time-series, visualisation, and building tools that make data legible to others.
Human Performance
Football analytics, running analytics, and how the body adapts to stress over time — plus a deep interest in behaviour change and habit formation.
Society & Policy
Climate policy, international development, and the social systems that sit beneath the energy transition.
